On 12/31/09, $SPX lost 11 points and closed right at the last breakout point: 1115. For $SPX, the key is to watch 1110 -1114 support area closely. If this support area can be held, $SPX could go up to test 1170. If this support area is broken down, $SPX has good chance to go down to test 1085.
The Super Trend Trading System and Major Top and Bottom System are still at Buy signal.
